Registration for Literary Festivals and Book Launches
Session-based registration, delegate passes and check-in for literature festivals, book launches and author events.
What makes literary festivals & book launches different
Many sessions, one delegate
A festival delegate attends several sessions across days. One pass has to work repeatedly rather than being consumed at first scan.
Venue capacity per session
Popular sessions overflow while others sit empty. Knowing who actually walked into each one is the difference between guessing and scheduling.
Press and author logistics
Media, authors, publishers and the public all need credentials, and they are not the same pass.
How we handle it
- One delegate pass that scans across multiple days
- Separate credentials for press, authors and delegates
- Attendance counted per session, not just at the gate
- Badges printed on arrival for delegates who register late
Common questions
Do I need ticketing software for literary festivals & book launches?
Usually not. These events are invitation or registration based rather than publicly ticketed, so what you need is a registration form, an entry pass per attendee and a way to check people in at the door. A ticketing marketplace takes a cut per ticket and is built for selling to strangers, which is a different problem.

Can attendees receive their pass on WhatsApp?
Yes. Attendees opt in on the registration form and receive their QR entry pass on WhatsApp as well as by email. Every send is recorded with its outcome, so you can see who received theirs and resend to anyone who did not — before the day, rather than at the door.
What does it cost?
Pricing is per event and scales with the number of registrations, so a small evening programme costs less than a multi-day festival. Badge printing, hardware and on-site staff are quoted separately because only some events need them.
