Scan entry passes on any Android phone, or on a Sunmi POS handheld that prints the badge at the same time. It keeps working when the venue wifi does not.
Scan any pass we issue
Scan the QR from an attendee’s phone, a printed badge, or an email. Signed codes are verified, so a screenshot of someone else’s pass does not get anyone in.
Keeps working without wifi
The registration list is held on the device. When venue wifi drops at the entrance — which it does — scanning carries on and check-ins are queued, then sent when the connection returns.
Prints badges on Sunmi devices
On a Sunmi POS handheld, checking someone in prints their badge there and then, with your design, their name and their QR code.
Admits a party in one tap
When a registration covers guests, the screen shows the party size. Staff confirm everyone arrived with a single tap, or reduce the number when someone did not come.
Tracks kits and meals
Hand over a delegate kit or meal and mark it on the spot. Duplicate collection is refused even offline, so nobody collects twice during an outage.
Finds people without a code
Someone always arrives having lost their pass. Search by name, email or phone against the list already on the device and check them in anyway.
Registers walk-ups
Add someone who never registered, issue their pass, and print their badge — without leaving the desk.
Exports its own logs
Every scan and sync is recorded on the device and can be exported as a CSV afterwards, which is how an argument about what happened at the door gets settled.
What it runs on
Badge printing needs a Sunmi device. Everything else works on hardware you already own.
Common questions
Does the check-in app work on an ordinary Android phone?
Yes. Any reasonably recent Android phone can scan passes and check attendees in. A Sunmi POS device is only needed if you want to print badges at the desk.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. The registration list is stored on the device, so scanning continues through a wifi outage and queued check-ins sync when the connection returns. Sync once before doors open.
Is there an iPhone version?
No. The app is Android only. Attendees can use any phone to show their pass — it is only the staff scanning device that needs to be Android.
Where do I download it?
It is not on the Play Store. We install it on the devices used for your event, whether those are ours or yours. Get in touch and we will set it up.
How many devices can scan at once?
As many as you need. Several desks can scan simultaneously, and a pass already used at one desk shows as checked in at the others.
What happens if someone scans the same pass twice?
The second scan shows that the attendee is already checked in rather than counting them again. For kits and meals, duplicate collection is blocked even while offline.
