Registration for Classical Music and Dance Programmes
Registration, entry passes and check-in for Indian classical concerts, dance recitals and sabha programmes.
What makes classical music & dance different
Season programmes, not single events
A music season or sabha schedule runs many programmes over weeks, often for the same audience, so the same list needs reusing rather than rebuilding each time.
Patrons and invitees are not the same group
Donors, patrons, press and general invitees need different passes and sometimes different seating, which means the form has to distinguish them at registration.
An older audience
Printed passes still matter here. A QR that can arrive by email, WhatsApp or be printed at the desk covers everyone rather than forcing one channel.
How we handle it
- Separate registration forms for patrons, press and general invitees
- Entry passes by email, WhatsApp, or printed at the door
- Badge printing on a Sunmi device at the venue
- Attendance recorded per programme across a season
Common questions
Do I need ticketing software for classical music & dance?
Usually not. These events are invitation or registration based rather than publicly ticketed, so what you need is a registration form, an entry pass per attendee and a way to check people in at the door. A ticketing marketplace takes a cut per ticket and is built for selling to strangers, which is a different problem.

Can attendees receive their pass on WhatsApp?
Yes. Attendees opt in on the registration form and receive their QR entry pass on WhatsApp as well as by email. Every send is recorded with its outcome, so you can see who received theirs and resend to anyone who did not — before the day, rather than at the door.
What does it cost?
Pricing is per event and scales with the number of registrations, so a small evening programme costs less than a multi-day festival. Badge printing, hardware and on-site staff are quoted separately because only some events need them.
