Registration for Award Ceremonies and Gala Evenings
Invite-only registration, table or seating categories and controlled entry for award nights and gala evenings.
What makes award ceremonies different
Entry is strictly by invitation
The guest list is the event. Anyone arriving without a valid pass has to be identifiable at the door without a confrontation.
Nominees arrive with parties
Each nominee or winner brings a table of guests, and the number is agreed in advance and has to hold on the night.
The press list is separate
Media accreditation runs alongside the guest list and needs its own pass and its own entry.
How we handle it
- Signed QR passes that cannot be forged or duplicated
- Party sizes agreed at registration and enforced at the door
- Separate accreditation for press and crew
- A record of exactly who was admitted and when
Common questions
Do I need ticketing software for award ceremonies?
Usually not. These events are invitation or registration based rather than publicly ticketed, so what you need is a registration form, an entry pass per attendee and a way to check people in at the door. A ticketing marketplace takes a cut per ticket and is built for selling to strangers, which is a different problem.
Entry is strictly by invitation?
The guest list is the event. Anyone arriving without a valid pass has to be identifiable at the door without a confrontation.
Can attendees receive their pass on WhatsApp?
Yes. Attendees opt in on the registration form and receive their QR entry pass on WhatsApp as well as by email. Every send is recorded with its outcome, so you can see who received theirs and resend to anyone who did not — before the day, rather than at the door.
What does it cost?
Pricing is per event and scales with the number of registrations, so a small evening programme costs less than a multi-day festival. Badge printing, hardware and on-site staff are quoted separately because only some events need them.
