Registration for Ghazal Evenings and Mushairas

Invite-based registration, QR entry passes on WhatsApp, and door control for ghazal nights, mushairas and qawwali evenings.

What makes ghazal evenings & mushairas different

Almost everyone brings someone

A ghazal evening is rarely attended alone. If your form only counts registrations you will under-cater badly, so the guest count has to be collected at registration and confirmed at the door.

No ticket, but entry still has to be controlled

These events are usually free and invitation-based, so there is no ticketing platform involved — yet the hall has a capacity and the organiser still needs to know who is inside.

The audience is not app-literate

A pass that arrives on WhatsApp and works as a screenshot will be found at the door. One that requires installing an app will not.

Everyone arrives in the same twenty minutes

Evening programmes fill just before they start. Check-in has to be a single tap per party, not a form to fill at the entrance.

How we handle it

  • Guest counts collected at registration, with a maximum you set
  • QR entry passes delivered on WhatsApp as well as email
  • One tap to admit a whole party at the door
  • Attendance counted as people, so you know the real audience size
  • Check-in that keeps working if the venue wifi drops

Common questions

Do I need ticketing software for ghazal evenings & mushairas?

Usually not. These events are invitation or registration based rather than publicly ticketed, so what you need is a registration form, an entry pass per attendee and a way to check people in at the door. A ticketing marketplace takes a cut per ticket and is built for selling to strangers, which is a different problem.

Almost everyone brings someone?

A ghazal evening is rarely attended alone. If your form only counts registrations you will under-cater badly, so the guest count has to be collected at registration and confirmed at the door.

Can attendees receive their pass on WhatsApp?

Yes. Attendees opt in on the registration form and receive their QR entry pass on WhatsApp as well as by email. Every send is recorded with its outcome, so you can see who received theirs and resend to anyone who did not — before the day, rather than at the door.

What does it cost?

Pricing is per event and scales with the number of registrations, so a small evening programme costs less than a multi-day festival. Badge printing, hardware and on-site staff are quoted separately because only some events need them.
