Registration for College Festivals and Campus Events

Registration, participant passes and check-in for college fests, technical symposiums and campus cultural events.

What makes college festivals different

Thousands of registrations, almost no budget

Campus events run on student committees and small budgets, so the software has to be cheap enough to be worth using and simple enough to hand over to next year’s committee.

Participants, volunteers and visitors are different

Each needs a different pass and different access, and the volunteer list changes daily.

Event-by-event sign-ups

One festival contains dozens of competitions, each with its own list and its own limit.

How we handle it

  • Separate forms per competition, each with its own cap
  • Passes delivered on WhatsApp, which students actually read
  • Check-in on volunteers’ own Android phones, no hardware to hire
  • Per-event attendance for the post-festival report

Common questions

Do I need ticketing software for college festivals?

Usually not. These events are invitation or registration based rather than publicly ticketed, so what you need is a registration form, an entry pass per attendee and a way to check people in at the door. A ticketing marketplace takes a cut per ticket and is built for selling to strangers, which is a different problem.

Can attendees receive their pass on WhatsApp?

Yes. Attendees opt in on the registration form and receive their QR entry pass on WhatsApp as well as by email. Every send is recorded with its outcome, so you can see who received theirs and resend to anyone who did not — before the day, rather than at the door.

What does it cost?

Pricing is per event and scales with the number of registrations, so a small evening programme costs less than a multi-day festival. Badge printing, hardware and on-site staff are quoted separately because only some events need them.
